Sacred Heart Radio is searching for a talented and professional Marketing Director to develop and implement marketing initiatives to increase SHR’s visibility and awareness in Parishes and throughout the Catholic community to coincide with our fundraising efforts.
You need to be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and community-driven to take on this exciting role. This position requires someone equipped with a positive attitude and readiness to be a team player and be available to work on weekends if necessary.
Our ideal candidate is able to interpret listener and parishioner response data and suggest creative ways to attract more church-going Catholics by demonstrating how they have “instant access” to learning many new things about their faith EVERY HOUR OF EVERY DAY by listening to Sacred Heart Radio on any of our SIX Media Platforms.

Maintain a calendar of outreach activities, including Catholic events, workshops, appearances, and other communication opportunities.
Conduct market research, producing promotional materials and analyzing data.
Prepare an annual budget for promotional materials and other outreach activities.
Nurture new and old relationships with collaborative partners.
Schedule regular exhibitions in Parishes and other Catholic organizations
Prepare accurate records and reports on the goals of the fundraising plan.
Organize special events, including donor/volunteer appreciation events and other fundraising initiatives.
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, journalism, public relations or related fields.
Preferred experience of 3-5 years within non-profit fundraising or outreach activities.
Outstanding written communication and presentation skills.
Strong experience preparing reports.
Experience with institutional databases, public access sites and primary research skills.
Good report, technical and statistical skills.
Strong knowledge of social media and other basic marketing platforms.
Handling public relations to develop strategic relationships and conducting informational presentations at parishes and for other Catholic organizations interested in the mission of SHR to promote the radio apostolate and receive donations.
Advertising for, screening and recruiting volunteers to represent SHR in their parish and for Pledge Drives, providing them training and support, tracking their performance, and keeping records of their activities.
Verifying the volunteers’ availability, receiving their feedback, recognizing their efforts, answering their questions and providing the necessary marketing materials to enhance SHR’s visibility and awareness in their parish and to display in high traffic areas.
Detail-orientated with the ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
Help to further develop and maintain our website.
